   Section Description:

This section ties together many of the various recommendations made throughout the Plan. It is not a summary, but instead proposes specific actions that should be taken to put the plan into action.

Various annexation approaches are explained, as are jurisdictional, infrastructure, and population limitations. Then, the vital topic of regional coordination is discussed. State and County agencies must be brought into the process to ensure that their efforts are complementary to this Plan. GISD is an even larger player, able to help tremendously or delay other goals if coordination fails.

Next steps are considered in another subsection. The adoption process is discussed, as are updates to several existing documents (such as the Zoning Ordinance). Additional projects such as planning for historic mixed-use neighborhoods (the Square, Old Town, etc.) and community-wide parks planning.

Finally, A brief appendix is included, much shorter than in the full Plan.
