This section takes a look at the transportation system as it exists today. While this is primarily focused on cars and trucks, alternative forms are considered as well, both recreational (walking and biking) and legacy/private (mass transit, airport, organization options).
The document looks at many different attributes of the street network such as traffic counts, surface condition, etc. from a City-wide perspective. It then takes a deeper dive into how these conditions interact with each other by analyzing certain key corridors. Elm Street, Fourth Street, and US 380 are several example corridor systems which get specific consideration.
